HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIMERY! I hope the double-digit birthday was magical! I love you so much, and I wish I were there to celebrate with you, but we still celebrated here on our own and thought of you! I can’t believe that you graced us with your beautiful light 10 years ago! What a wonderful 10 years it was. Obviously, I wish I could have spent more of that time with you, but just knowing that you are happy and healthy and safe out there makes my heart warm.
This week was pretty chill for me. Still no car, some days off and some work days, and no real complaints. Although I did split my head open and bled all over the dive boat a couple of days ago… haha. I am okay, but it was a bit scary at the time.
I have been loving my time on the boat, and I should have my Divemaster finally done this week too! Then I will be a professional mariner and diver. Zara is starting her first mariner courses as well this week. She is doing her short range radio course first, and then she will do her STCW, and then her Boatmaster 3 course.
All is well over here. Astoria, our new rescue puppy, is getting stronger and getting very used to living on the property with us, and even though we have no car, we have been doing great with the bus.
Nana is also coming to visit next week, which should be fun. She should arrive on Sunday, God’s willing.
