Hello, Aimery. I love you! I hope you are having a lovely weekend! Look at me, writing to you on Sunday again! Sorry that I have been so busy recently that my letters to you have been late sometimes. Law school, diving, and still finding time to get out to the beach and for fruit-finding walks; it has all been a lot to manage. Luckily, though, I feel like I am getting a handle on things more as the weeks pass. This week was full of classes (Monday to Thursday), our school matriculation ceremony (Thursday), work (diving on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), wonder hikes (we hiked from Carlisle Bay to Rendezvous Beach on Saturday), and study Sundays (today is study day!).
The matriculation (welcoming) ceremony was very well done. They gave food at the end (Gramgrams would have loved it), and they varied the events from speeches to musical performances.
After the ceremony, Astoria was VERY happy to see us come back home <3.
On Friday we did a bit of a fruit finding walk and saw a huge hermit crab, so sute!
The hike to Rendezvous was so amazing! We started the day off with an eagle ray sighting at Carlisle Bay Beach and then had a nice and challenging hour and a half walk to Rendezvous. I took some videos of the beaches on the way there, and once we got there, Zara and I just relaxed and enjoyed the day.
The beaches along the way are so beautiful! And one of them had a bunch of driftwood!
Zara had a wonderful time finding driftwood for her art projects. I am very excited to see what she makes! I am sure I will share them here with you as well!
