Guinepade and vaycay
What a relaxing week! I worked one day last week and did a dive day for my course, but it was pretty slow overall. Made some more guinepade, which was really yummy, and did a heck of a lot of baking! Buttermilk was on sale, and I thought it was regular milk… it was a whole thing. It was delicious, but it is time to get back to a normal routine now. Less sugar and more soup! Still cookies from time to time tho!
Zara and I have been using this time to really break in the new home. We are taking care of Astoria and enjoying the local area and beaches. Zara is still helping out at Second Star Sailing a few days a week, and I am working a few days this upcoming week as well, so things are definitely getting a bit busier for us.
Your birthday is coming up! That is so exciting! I miss you so much, but I hope you have a wonderful day! I will try to bake something fun on Wednesday to celebrate! I can’t wait to bake you a cake for your birthday one year <3. I am baking Nana a cake this year for her birthday when she comes to visit in a couple of weeks.
The puppers are so darn cute! Runty doesn’t listen tho and is going to give me a heart attack!
