Dear Aimery Keith Lewis #35
Snowboarding, NYE kisses, and Goodbyes
What a wonderful week, and what a wonderful life!
This past year, I've really been trying to focus on living my life, “One Day at a Time”. I moved to Antigua so that I could live in an environment that was healthier for me. I started new careers in Sailing and Diving, so that I could surround my life with positive people and hobbies. And I've been enjoying every day as it comes. I wake up slowly, with the sun, without an alarm. I eat a vegan diet most days and only meat between noon and 6 pm. And I snack on local fruits that I pick directly from the trees. There are always more improvements to make, but they get made as I assess my day and decide what I have time to fit into it.
Being back in Canada for a bit over the holidays was wonderful, but I definitely miss my slow paced Carribean lifestyle. Although this time it was quite difficult to say goodbye…

The week started with a family trip to Blue Mountain. Had a pretty good time! Fell a bunch, which is good haha. It means I was having a good time! Boarded some glades, hit the terrain park for a run, and even tried out a little mountain coaster in the evening.

Then it was New Year’s Eve! Honestly, it wasn't even that wild, but I had a magnificent time. Date night dinner, a little dancing, a kiss at midnight, new friends, and got to hang with the siblings (your aunts and uncles). It's always a pleasure to spend time with them.

Friday was spent with Rebecca! We had a wonderful time walking around Toronto, eating pastries, getting coffee, and visiting various cafes. It was a little chilly, but a nice sunny day overall—a great way to end the holiday season.
Some other fun things this week:

The cabinet took hours to put together! And I may have messed up some of the screws, but shhh, don’t tell Nana <3. Nana and I also baked some shortbread cookies. The first ones were too thin and hard, but these were much softer. The muffin tin really helps. And Zara (mY GiRrL FriEnD) and I went to a cute vegetarian Indian food place before Avatar 3 for our last hangout day before long distance again. I hope you get to meet her one day, Aims.
I hope you have a wonderful New Year! I pray this is our best one yet. Only 9 more years until I see you again Buhbuh <3.
