What a weekend!
I'm not even sure where to start, haha. So, I guess the beginning is usually good enough! I'm writing this on my phone, so, emojis incoming 🌚🌝.
Merry Christmas, and happy Holidays, Aimery! I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas Eve, and Christmas day! Even boxing day can be super fun, but I don't think it's much celebrated in the States? I had a wonderful holiday season so far!
Christmas Eve, I was traveling. I went into work in the morning, to say hi to the coworkers and Alfie from Emily in Paris was there doing a Powerboat course! A co-worker drove me to the airport 🙏🏾, and the flight was pretty straightforward. I had a row to myself which was nice as well.
We got back to Nana's house around 10pm and, after smashing on all the delicious snacks 🤤, I was up all night working on a Christmas gift for…. My now girlfriend 👀🤭. Got the girl, Aims! Can't wait for you to eventually meet her! But, were getting ahead of ourselves 😂. I should start at the beginning of the week!
Monday and Tuesday were just spend hiking and working though tbh. Nothing too special. I wasn't feeling the best on Monday so I'm pretty sure I just stayed home and rested. Wednesday traveling and back to Thursday, Christmas day!
Santa was very good to me this year 🥰! I got a bunch of scuba stuff, treats, sailing gear, and some miscellaneous stuff as well. I always feel so loved when I get so many gifts. I know the season isn't about the gifts, but it's definitely a wonderful part of it. I hope you got a bunch of gifts to enjoy as well.
Boxing day shenanigans were also enjoyable! There was a huge snowstorm 🌨️ and we drove all around the area looking for various things. I mostly needed some scuba gear though (boots and a cap to keep my warm) and luckily we were able to make it to scuba 2000 in Richmond Hill through the snow and get some stuff! And in the evening we drove out to Sarnia to see KT and her fiance Cory 💕.
We only had a one day trip in Sarnia, but it was so enjoyable, and we made sure to get some yummies too!
We got back from Sarnia late Saturday night/Sunday morning, so I definitely needed coffee before family church day on Sunday.
After church, I took Harmony out to play in the snow and then had a wonderful nap.
I woke up from my nap and then went out to see Zara 👀, and now she's my girlfriend 🤭😂. It doesn't get any easier Aims, lemme tell you that haha! If anything, I get more butterflies now than I ever have. Although, it's always worth it to send her that poem 😘. I'm excited for us to have chats about romantic love in the future. Such a fun adventure.
That's about it for me for last week though. Heading off to Blue Mountain now for a quick boarding trip with Nana, Pierre, and the cousins (Eric and Anisa). Should be fun, haven't boarded in a while. I'm sure we will go together one day 🏂🏾.
