Dear Aimery Keith Lewis #31
Missing you more each day <3
I always feel as though I miss you a little more than normal when I feel a twang of jealousy… I miss you more and more each day; as I miss out on experiencing life with you, I think of all the small moments I will never get to experience. Of course, once I am able, I will reach out and try to build whatever connection I can with you, whatever connection you would like to have with me. For now, though, I focus on creating a life that allows for that connection to grow as smoothly and as deep as possible.
I was helping to crew for a Start Yachting and Competent Crew course with Second Star Sailing today. It was a wonderful day out on the water. Instead of being the novice that doesn’t really know what is going on, I am now one of the crew members who gives safety briefings and teaches others, which is really cool. My homework for tomorrow is to do a weather briefing for the crew.
One of the people taking the course is taking it because of his motivation to be able to take his 2-year-old son on boat trips as he gets older. Such a cute and inspiring motivation to have. I resonated well with him, and it was wonderful to see him become more comfortable with the boat as the day went on. I pray that he can continue to grow towards that goal, but it also reminds me of my goals of being able to sail with you one day. I have to admit, I felt a tiny bit of jealousy creep up… Nothing negative really, just a bit of sadness that it will probably be quite a while before we are able to enjoy a sailing holiday together, and a bit of motivation to keep working towards my goals in that area. My new specific goal is to try to captain a boat for TradeWinds in Belize <3. Not forever, since I DO want to end up in Antigua long term. It would be fun for a few years, though, to travel to and explore a different part of the Caribbean.
Some views from today’s sail <3.
This week was pretty chill overall. Got some fruits on my walk, saw some pretty flowers, and helped out at the sailing school and diving school.

I now feel fully comfortable in my routine. I either attend sailing or diving school during the week, and then on the weekends, I go for walks around the valley, searching for fruits, or sail/dive. Mango season has officially come back again!
Pics of my fruit haul this week!

I will be bringing a couple of the sugar apples to the sailing school tomorrow for a friend, and maybe some of the mangoes as well. Many of the mangoes have already been eaten, though, as you can see haha!
Love you lots, Aims.
Love, Dada.
