Dear Aimery Keith Lewis #28
One day at a time...
Happy new week, Aimery! I love you! This week has been busy, but quite rewarding. On Monday and Tuesday, I was diving with Antigua Scuba School. On Wednesday, I went for a nice walk with Runty and Luffy to get some ackee and sugar apple around the neighbourhood. On Thursday, I mostly relaxed, and on Friday, I was at Second Star Sailing School, helping out to get the boats ready. This weekend has also been quite fun so far. Yesterday, on Saturday, I was helping my friend get her sails cleaned and put up on her boat, and today I went for a walk and also ended up at the beach. The beach is a wonderful place to study.
I posted some videos to Instagram of the dives, but I guess I can also post them here!
Sharks, aka reef puppies <3
Turtles and other cute things <3!
Diving has been so much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. I cannot imagine my life without it anymore. It is so peaceful below the surface; quiet and beautiful.
I was quite tired after two days of diving, though, and the relaxing Wednesday and Thursday were much needed.

And I saw so many pretty things <3. I love living in this area.

I don’t think I got any pics of Friday, was pretty busy at work and then was tired after work, but Saturday’s achievements are well documented! Head sail up in the morning, delicious vegan lunch, and then main sail up just before dark!

Today was nice and chill. I went for a walk again to get more ackee and sugar apple. Then I walked to the beach to get some studying done for my Rescue Diver course. I have been having a difficult time studying recently because I have been getting tired when I start, but I had much better luck at the beach. I started today 75% through unit 1, and now I am beginning unit 4! There are only 5 units, and the practical course is next week, so I have lots of time.
The beach is getting quite busy as the season gets going. I usually enjoy the beaches most when they are quiet and peaceful, but being here so often now makes it so that I can enjoy the various seasons. It is nice to see the beach busy with tourists and know that it is bringing in more revenue for the local community. Also, always nice to see people enjoying Antigua’s beauty.
An enjoyable week and looking forward to the next one! One day at a time, of course. A lot is going on from now until the end of the year, but I have been enjoying each day as it comes. I got my first tip while working at the diving school this week, and I have been feeling more energized and healthier than I have in recent months.
I hope you are loving your life day by day as well, Aimery. I hope you are enjoying being an older brother and having fun in school, and spending time with family. Can’t wait to see you and give you a big ol’ hug!
I love you, Buhbuh,
Love Dada
