Happy new week, Aimery! I hope you had a wonderful week, full of love and joy. I am sure that it is wonderful to grow up with a little sister to care for! I hope you are also enjoying school and your hobbies. I have been helping out at Second Star Sailing and at Antigua SCUBA School. So, my days have been nice and busy, and I am starting to get back to walking around the neighbourhood, searching for fruits! Luffy, the puppy, has been getting bigger. He is so cute!
I learned some new skills at the sailing school this week, too! I learned how to “whip” lines (fixing lines that are frayed at the ends), and I helped with some rigging!
There has also been quite a bit of fish activity at the dock recently! I generally see needle fish, but they seem to be getting bigger. Also, I am seeing a lot of smaller schools of fish, and larger fish have been coming in to eat them!
I was feeling a bit sick recently, but I have been feeling a little better, so I decided to get out for a walk again. I am so glad that I did, because the fruits are coming back in season! Well, sugar apple seems to be in season all year round, but ackee is back! It seems like mangoes are coming in soon as well <3.
I will definitely be walking around the neighbourhood more often to look for more yummies, and to scope out the mangoes!
